Job Description:
Chic Consignment is looking for a Sales Associate that will assist in completing the everyday tasks of the sales floor, and certain aspects of the media team. This ranges from interacting with customers, maintaining and organizing displays, prepping inventory for live shopping videos, and much more. This position is part-time and is to be done on-site in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Organizing racks by color and size
- Greeting each customer
- Assisting consignors with consignment checks
- Assisting customers with fitting rooms
- Assisting customers with display cases
- Ringing up sales
- Organizing counters/displays
- Helping media team when needed
- Re-decorating mannequins and window displays when needed
- Integrating new merchandise onto the sales floor
- Putting clothing away in respective places
- Regular cleaning/sanitizing
- Following opening/closing procedures
- Loss Prevention
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Retail experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service
- Organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail
- Realistic time management
- Ability to multi-task
- Sense of urgency
- The ability to learn/work a POS system
- Persistence and determination
- Ability to work well with others
