Job Description:
Chic Consignment is looking for an E-Commerce & Social Media Associate that will assist in completing the everyday tasks of the media team. These associates will work closely with the social media manager in an effort to create content for the Chic website and social media. This position is part-time and is to be done on-site in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Taking photos of clothing
- Measure clothing
- Navigating Dropbox
- Required to work 1-2 weekend shifts (mostly Saturday) per month
- Film videos for Instagram/Facebook
- Create captions and hashtags for social media posts
- Respond to social media messages regarding website/video items
- Package items from e-commerce sales
- Assist on the sales floor as needed
- On occasion, assist with opening and closing procedures
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Familiarity in photography is a plus
- Ability to learn new software applications and online tools
- Retail company/brand/fashion experience a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
